Rings
Measuring a finger
Take a strip of paper about 6 mm wide. Wrap it around the base of the finger, snug but able to pass over the knuckle. Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat, and read the length in millimetres. That number is your circumference, and it is the EU ring size.
Three things worth knowing before you measure:
- Fingers are largest in the late afternoon and in warm weather. Measure then, not first thing in the morning.
- The knuckle decides. If the knuckle is much wider than the base, size to the knuckle and accept a little movement below it.
- A wide band sits tighter than a thin one. For bands over 6 mm, go up one size.

If you land between two sizes, take the larger one.
Sizing an existing ring
Measure the inner diameter of a ring that already fits, in millimetres, and read it against the third column above. Measure across the widest point of the inside, not the outside.
Chains
Chain length is measured end to end including the clasp. Where it falls depends on your build, so treat these as a starting point rather than a rule.

To check before ordering: cut a length of string to the size you are considering, fasten it around your neck, and look in a mirror. It takes a minute and it is more reliable than a diagram.
Bracelets
Measure around the wrist bone with a strip of paper, then add 1.5 cm for a tennis bracelet so it moves rather than grips. Bracelet lengths are listed on each product.
